Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-12 students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This engaging role is designed for dedicated professionals ready to bring their expertise to a supportive school environment near Pottsboro, TX. With several openings available, both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply. Interviews are being scheduled now, with offers extended in mid to late June.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active or pending state licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Experience in a school setting strongly preferred, but not required Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families Passion for helping children achieve their communication goals
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student progress Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support students' educational success Utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions tailored to each student's unique needs Monitor and track student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
