Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower growth and communication for students across multiple school settings as a highly qualified Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is focused on serving elementary and middle school students and collaborating within a dedicated team to deliver impactful services throughout the school year. You will work onsite in a dynamic, supportive educational environment, providing direct interventions and helping shape students' communication successes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current, active
NCDPI SLP
License required (attach with application) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience as a school-based SLP preferred Proficiency with ECATS for compliance and documentation Prior attendance and participation in IEP meetings Strong skills in student assessment, goal writing, and data-driven interventions Minimum one year relevant school experience strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver in-person speech-language therapy to students in both general and exceptional education settings Conduct evaluations, screenings, and progress monitoring for caseload management Develop present levels of performance and individualized annual goals for each student in alignment with IEP requirements Actively participate and contribute to IEP team meetings and student planning Accurately document services and submit required paperwork in a timely manner Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success Three full-time positions are available, working across multiple sites to provide consistent and comprehensive student services. The school calendar runs from August through May, ensuring a balanced schedule with clear structure.
