Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by supporting communication skills across all grade levels in a dynamic, collaborative educational environment. A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to work with K-12 students from August 6, 2026, through May 25, 2027. This full-time role is tailored for professionals committed to positively impacting children's educational journeys.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Active licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY considered) Experience or strong interest in school-based settings, supporting K-12 populations Proficiency in providing both direct and indirect therapy services Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt approaches to meet varied student needs and learning styles
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of K-12 students Conduct initial assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and set measurable goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to maximize student outcomes Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports within prescribed timelines Participate actively in IEP meetings and student-focused interventions—without additional non-therapy duties such as bus or pickup responsibilities
