Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This exciting contract opportunity lets you make a real difference in students' lives while working within a vibrant school setting near Winchendon, MA. Ideal candidates bring knowledge, passion, and specialized training to foster communication growth among young learners. Whether you are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), your expertise will contribute to a positive and inclusive educational experience.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Eligible for, or possession of, Massachusetts SLP licensure SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills for speech/language disorders in children Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Screen, assess, and identify students' speech and language challenges Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct interventions using evidence-based practices Track and document students' progress toward goals Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment Enjoy the support of an experienced team, exposure to a range of clinical scenarios, and the chance to help young students achieve meaningful communication milestones.
