We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated in-house rehab team. This is a great opportunity to provide impactful therapy services while enjoying flexible scheduling.
Job Summary:
As a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and treat residents experiencing communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You'll collaborate with our interdisciplinary care team to create personalized treatment plans that enhance residents' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough assessments of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities Develop and execute individualized therapy plans in accordance with physician orders Deliver direct therapy services to residents as needed Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress in a timely and accurate manner Work closely with nursing, dietary, and rehabilitation staff to align care goals Provide education to staff, residents, and families on communication techniques and safe swallowing practices Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings as appropriate
Qualifications:
