SUMMARY OF JOB
The Small Engine Technician job duties include: customer service, equipment repair and inventory control.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Task 1: 90%
TURN WRENCHES
Diagnoses, estimates costs and repairs customer equipment. Has an advanced understanding of small engine repair and maintenance. Sharpens saw chain, sharpens and balances mower blades. Task 2: 8% Parts Duties Orders parts for equipment to be repaired. Task 3: 2% Manage an assistant with prepping equipment, sharpening chains and blades, looking up parts and conducting minor repairs and tune-ups during peak season.
