Small Engine / Powersports Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Small Engine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, particularly with small engines. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and repairing various types of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Duties Diagnose and repair small engines, including but not limited to lawn mowers, generators, and other outdoor powersports equipment. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure longevity and efficiency. Utilize power tools and welding equipment as needed for repairs. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively. Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support and advice on product features and benefits. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Document all repairs and maintenance performed on equipment. Requirements Proven experience as a mechanic or service technician, particularly with small engines. Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus. Proficient in using power tools and welding techniques. Ability to read and understand schematics for effective troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. A passion for vehicle maintenance and repair is highly desirable.
