Small Equipment Operator

We are New Jersey's only licensed food waste composter and the company is growing. We are looking for an introductory machine operator. This person will primarily be operating a Kubota loader, so previous experience with a similar sized piece of equipment is helpful, but will also be trained to run other onsite farm equipment including but not limited to our water tank truck, on-site dump truck, and tractor. The job is full time Monday through Friday 8:00 - 4:30. In the spring, summer, and fall, when we get busy, some Saturdays and overtime available, and may begin at 7:00 instead of 8:00, or finish at 5:30 instead of 4:30. Responsibilities Must be able to help with light maintenance Light shovel work Cleaning up around the soil screen Be able to lift at least 50 lbs Be willing to work in the weather and muddy conditions (Loaders have heat & air and we keep them in good working order.) Facilities and equipment are all "smoke free" including 'vaping' Loading smaller trucks Processing drums and bins of food products for compost Must be able to pass drug screen and random tests. Qualifications Small equipment experience necessary. Valid US Driver's License required. We offer paid holidays, paid time off, and benefits.
