Smart Home Technician

High Power Technical Services, the Regional Service Provider for DISH Network in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio is currently accepting applications for Smart Home Technicians. Smart Home Technicians are responsible for the installation and service of: DISH Network satellite video equipment Starlink satellite internet equipment Boost Mobile cellular devices Ontech Smart Home products FLOCK public camera systems As a HPTS Service Technician, you will enjoy: Hourly and Overtime pay Paid Training. Training pay is $18 per hour. Field training lasts approximately 15 days

Performance Pay Increases:

$2 raise upon graduating training program and pay reviews at 4 months and 12 months. Earn up to $22 per hour in 12 months of active service. Earn up to an additional $800 per month in performance bonuses Aggressive sales bonus program: Earn up to 15% commission on product sales and up to $1150 per pay cycle for retail account sales with no sales caps. 40 Hours of vacation days awarded @ 6 months of employment

Minimum requirements for the position:

21 years of age or older (for commercial insurance purposes) Possess a valid driver's license Clean criminal history Clean driving record with no DUI's, license suspensions, reckless driving, excessive speeding tickets, etc. Pass a pre-employment drug screen Have some experience working with basic hand tools Able to meet the physical requirements of the position, climb ladders, access crawl spaces, and attics, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, squat, kneel, bend, crawl, and stand for long periods as needed. Enjoy working in an outdoor environment (we work in heat, cold, snow, rain, storms, and other types of inclement weather!) Be comfortable working one on one with customers! In addition to service and installation, we present products and services to the customer so you must be willing to sell! Be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Are you available to work weekends? A technician's job duties require that they routinely stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb ladders, and carry loads up to 80 pounds as needed. Are you able to meet the minimum physical requirements of this position? HPTS techs are required to carry up to 25 pounds of equipment up ladders with a max weight rating of 300 pounds. Are you able to meet this position requirement without exceeding the max rating for our ladder equipment?
