Snag Grinder 2nd Shift 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars Breckenridge, MI 48615 $15 - $20 an hour - Full-time Integrity Buyer, LLC. 20 reviews $15 - $20 an hour - Full-time Summary /Objective Performs snag grinding, general laborer, and housekeeping tasks in assigned production area through the adherence to safe and efficient methods. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Perform general tasks such as cleaning, preparation, and transport of materials or supplies in compliance with preventative/predictive schedules. Must be able to calibrate and use a variety of measuring devices. Achieve production, quality and safety standards by observing equipment operating conditions and making adjustments to maximize output. Notifies appropriate personnel (Supervisor) of problems beyond the scope of responsibility of the position. Assist assigned team members with general pre-production and post-production tasks while meeting quality standards. Keep accurate time and production records. Maintain supply stock, inventory counts, and materials lists as necessary. Respond to the ever-changing demands of the production department while maintaining a service oriented and helpful demeanor to Vendors, Customers, Co-workers and Outside Sales Representatives. Expedites the prompt resolution of employee, vendor and customer problems, questions, concerns, and discrepancies. Notifies the appropriate personnel of situations that are beyond the scope of responsibility level, including all feedback from Customers. Participate in a wide variety of special projects. Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions. Work Environment/Physical Demands This job operates in a manufacturing shop environment with direct and frequent exposure to outside weather elements. Exposure to noise, chemicals, and materials consistent with a manufacturing environment is constant. This is a physically demanding position; maintaining the physical strength to lift materials up to 75 pounds, endure prolonged standing, twisting and bending, stepping up and down, maintain dexterity, and stamina is necessary. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. This position is assigned to either a day or evening shift. Overtime work may be required as job duties demand. Skills, Abilities, and Competencies Necessary Attention to detail Multitask and Shift Priorities as Necessary Adherence to Quality and Safety Standards Ethical Conduct Communication Proficiency Reliability Required Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent GED Preferred Education and Experience 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
