Overview Join our team as a Snorkel Guide and immerse yourself in the beauty of marine environments while sharing your passion with others! In this dynamic role, you will lead snorkeling excursions both day time reef snorkel and manta ray snorkel tours, ensuring guests experience the wonders beneath the waves safely and joyfully. Your enthusiasm, leadership, and excellent communication skills will inspire confidence and curiosity among diverse groups of travelers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine adventure, education, and customer service in a tropical paradise or coastal setting. Responsibilities Lead engaging and informative snorkeling tours for groups of varying sizes, ensuring safety and enjoyment at all times Provide clear instructions on snorkeling techniques, safety procedures, and environmental conservation practices Assist guests with equipment fitting, usage, and troubleshooting to ensure comfort and confidence in the water Educate participants about local marine life, ecosystems, and conservation efforts to foster awareness and respect for the environment Monitor weather conditions, water quality, and safety protocols throughout each excursion to maintain high standards of safety Manage time efficiently to adhere to tour schedules while providing personalized attention to guests' needs Skills Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide groups confidently Excellent public speaking skills for delivering engaging educational content in an accessible manner Outstanding customer service skills to create memorable experiences and handle guest inquiries professionally Effective time management to coordinate tours smoothly and maximize guest satisfaction Clear communication skills for instructing snorkeling techniques and environmental information Teaching experience or background in marine biology or environmental education is a plus Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy and expertise inspire others to explore the underwater world responsibly. This paid role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to share their love of the ocean while developing valuable leadership and communication skills. Pay is by charter, rates will be discussed in interview and set based on experience.
