Job Description

Overview It is the responsibility of the Social Media Coordinator to coordinate all facets of Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe social media and PR activity. As the Social Media Coordinator, additional responsibilities exist to assist the Advertising Manager with advertising materials. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. - Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity). Responsibilities Create engaging and relevant content to disseminate through existing and emerging social media channelsincluding Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest and LinkedIn. Respond to guest comments, inquiries and reviews on all social media and travel review platforms. Have knowledge/understanding of soc ial media-related technology/advertising and be able to guide these strategies for the property. Consistently seek out innovative tools and opportunities to promote the company's brand and retail message through social media and public relations programs. Offer recommendations for influencer marketing partnerships and campaigns. Manage relationship with PR agency and corporate PR . Ensure property leadership is aware of and prepared for PR opportunities . Maint ain and distribute press kits and press releases, as needed. Consolidate and maintain all media coverage. Solicit and coordinate media events, promotions, and fam trips. Keep all media listings current . As sist with property videoand photo shoots. Assist with special events, as needed. Open and monitor creative jobs/requests for all collateral and media applications. Perform the proper follow-up for each job including proofing and tracking to ensure timely delivery. Work with vendors for bid pricing, specificationand fulfillment. Perform website content updates as needed. Maintain relationships with on property executives and corporate to print advertising material . Assist with ensuring on -property advertising is currentand in good condition. Other marketing -related duties as assigned. Qualifications Expert comfort level with social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Strong attention to detail and impeccable follow-through. Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities . Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organizationand prioritization skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent and articulate Ability to work efficiently, independentlyand cohesively, consistently producing quality results. Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications. Project managem ent software experience is a plus. •

POSITION REQUIRES A GAMING LICENSE BY THE NEVADA GAMING CONTROL BOARD
EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
: Bachelor's or related degree preferred. Minimum one year ofexperience in the casino/hotel/travel industry or ad agency. Minimum age requirement is 21 .
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math skills.
Language Skills:
Must be able to speak and understand English.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
: Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear. Ability to regularly move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds. Constantly walking up to distances of 500 ft. during shift. Frequently stooping, reaching.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
: Work performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment. There are occasional hot and cold temperature changes. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a smoke-filled environment. Work with others in close spaces. Moderate to high noise levels. Walk/stand on tile/mats/carpet/cement.
