Job Description

Job Description An employer is seeking a Space Planner in the Cincinnati, OH area. This individual will be a contractor employee and will join the planning team. During this person's day-to-day, they will undertake advanced professional work related to various planning assignments, including space and site planning, development of functional and programmatic requirements for projects, directing feasibility studies, and developing project solutions and alternatives. They will be conducting research on the project's needs, industry trends, and relevant planning benchmarks. They will be compiling data, organizing, and evaluating it to support project recommendations and determine planning priorities. Along with this, they will be facilitating client engagement meetings and workshops and preparing capital budgets. There is opportunity for this individual to be communicating with senior leaders and external stakeholders as well as collaborating with other units such as project management, construction management, engineering, interior design, space management, and real estate. Bachelor's degree in planning, Urban Planning, Architecture, Interior Design etc. or similar field Ability to create graphic presentations Urban planning experience, space planning, master planning, capital planning, and/or project programming Experience with improving accessibility awareness of building codes, accessibility requirements, zoning, development projects, construction, and other planning related guidelines Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft applications, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, or other relevant software.
