  • Position Summary
  • CVS Health is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Oklahoma Medicaid Finance team.
This role will collaborate with finance, accounting, and operational business partners to help the local market achieve its financial and strategic goals. This role will allow you to support in-depth financial analysis to evaluate the financial performance of business units or initiatives, analyzing profitability, cost drivers, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities.
You will accomplish this by:
+ Monitor the end-to-end profit & loss statements, reporting and budget & forecasting for the Aetna Better Health of Oklahoma. + Advise on latest updates from the state regarding rates adjustments / determinations / program changes and will report on the financial impact as well as determine rate adequacy for confirmation and/or follow up state discussions. + Assist in inquiries by both the state and the Oklahoma Association of Health Plans regarding the market share, data submission for the purpose of rate setting and medical trend analysis on behalf of the Health Plan. + Support month end close activities related to Membership, Revenue, Medical Expense, MBR and G&A. Present schedules/reports and variance analysis to Health Plan Finance Leadership. Work closely with Corporate Controllership/Actuarial Team to accurately reflect results in the financials. + Strategic subject matter expert for all forecasting cycles with the approval of the Senior Manager and Health Plan
CFO /CEO
for reporting to the Enterprise + Prepare monthly medical trend analysis for product performance and reporting of risk areas within medical lag and non-lag for mitigation by Clinical and Operational staff and participate in Medical Cost Trend meetings for the suggestion of mitigation and SAI efforts + Creation and support of requisite and supplemental materials to assist in variance, close and forecast reporting to Health Plan leadership and Enterprise as needed
  • Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Finance experience
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and to multitask under tight deadlines
  • Experience with Hyperion, Oracle, Ariba
  • Experience working for a large public company
  • Knowledge of health insurance industry terminology and concepts
  • Comfortable speaking to Senior Management and Executive Leadership
  • Education
  • + Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience required + Concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field strongly preferred

  • 40 •Time Type•Full time •Pay Range•The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.
00 - $91,800.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
