Job Description:

Develop specialized algorithms for the company's patented Dynamic Pricing System by applying econometric and statistical methods. Utilize multiple or simultaneous equation models, econometric models, applied econometrics, and market structure and pricing to create and modify pricing algorithms. Research new pricing methodologies. Explain algorithms and economic principles to the programming team and clients as required. Assist in the creation of new intellectual property. Develop and implement demand models and optimization techniques and utilize Stata and Python software. Oversee and enhance the implementation of existing algorithms. Develop customized and automated algorithms to optimize pricing. Actively monitor price recommendations generated by our algorithms. Create additional processes to support reporting for clients.

Job Requirements:

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics. Other education and/or experience must include: Telecommuting is available for this position. Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Applied Econometrics; Statistical methods; Industrial Organization; Microeconomics of optimal pricing strategies; Developing and implementing demand models and optimization techniques; and STATA and Python software.
