Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Senior Manager, Reinsurance Underwriting Analytics in Bermuda to assess, model, and price its growing reinsurance business. The role involves structuring, modeling, analyzing, pricing, and managing risk. Strong analytics, effective communication, credit experience and reinsurance market expertise are required. You will collaborate closely with teams to shape credit products and influence key decisions by tackling complex problems and delivering meaningful results.

Full Time - Hybrid Schedule - Bermuda
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and enhance pricing and exposure models for reinsurance lines, collaborating with key stakeholders including Underwriting, Finance, Actuarial, Risk Modeling and leadership team to drive strategy and outcomes. Align pricing approaches with internal, regulatory, and rating agency views Analyze product performance, uncover insights, and drive actionable recommendations Support loss reserving for transactions and portfolios, ensuring financial strength Create tools for scenario, sensitivity, and stochastic analysis to enable better decisions Present compelling findings to both technical and non-technical audiences; clearly document assumptions and risks to drive confidence in analysis and recommendations Explore new ideas, engage with external experts, and innovate our pricing toolkit
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in financial mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, or related field 7+ years in insurance, reinsurance, or finance, with firsthand modeling experience Expertise in cash flow, stochastic and deterministic modeling, and loss development Familiarity with different capital frameworks and regulatory standards Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills Proven ability to own projects and deliver results under tight deadlines Outstanding communication and collaboration skills—build relationships at every level Influential, team-oriented, and driven to make a difference
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree, CFA, or actuarial designation preferred Experience in credit modeling, with strong background in pricing frameworks and strategies Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis via SQL, Excel, Python, R, or SAS or similar COMPANY Enact Re is a Bermuda licensed Class 3A insurer with over $700 million in assets.
