This position prepares and contributes to reports and other presentions on program planning and evaluion. It designs and conducts a wide variety of comprehensive management studies and reviews, organizes assigned projects, plans, organizes, and directs team study work. Facilite focus groups throughout the Health Care System, assisting the Executive Leadership Team and Service Leadership on a wide variety of issues and topics. The Employee Experience Officer is the primary contact for the health care system All Employee Survey (AES) annually. This role the primary liaison with the Nional Center for Organizional Development and with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) on the AES and will establish a local AES team. Responsible for Employee Engagement, including the development and implemention of the Employee Engagement program. Serves as the subject mter expert in employee engagement, human capital issues, systemic issues/dynamics, and human/organizional change processes. Develops programs to help staff achieve personal and professional goals through developmental offerings, leadership and management training, and skills training. It will develop new recognition mechanisms and serve as liaison with Human Resources Management Services on employee recognition.
Work Schedule :

Paid Time Off:

Basic Requirements :
United Stes Citizenship:

Licensure:
Applicants must hold a full, current, and unrestricted license to practice psychology the doctoral level in a Ste, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United Stes, or the District of Columbia.
Educion:
Applicant must have a doctoral degree in psychology from a gradue program in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Associion (APA), the Psychological Clinical Science Accredition System (PCSAS), or the Canadian Psychological Associion (CPA) the time the program was completed. The specialty area of the degree must be consistent with the assignment for which the applicants are to be employed. For the purpose of meeting this requirement, the term "specialty area" refers to the specific specialty areas recognized by the accrediting body and not to specific job duties th might require special skills. Currently, APA accredits doctoral programs in the specialty areas of clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology, or combinions of two or more of those areas. PCSAS accredits doctoral programs in psychological clinical science. CPA accredits doctoral programs in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, clinical neuropsychology, and school psychology; OR Have a doctoral degree in any area of psychology and, in addition, successfully complete a re-specializion program (including documention of an approved internship completed as part of the re-specializion program) meeting both of the following conditions: The re-specializion program must be completed in an APA or a CPA accredited doctoral program; and The specialty in which the applicant is retrained must be consistent with the assignment for which the applicant is to be employed; OR Have a doctoral degree awarded between 1951 and 1978 from a regionally-accredited institution, with a dissertion primarily psychological in nure.

Knowledge of, and ability to apply, professional psychological trements to the full range of pient populions. Ability to provide professional advice and consultion in areas reled to professional psychology and behavioral health. Knowledge of clinical research literure. Assignment. This is the full performance level for staff psychologists. At this level, psychologists are licensed to practice independently in the provision of psychological services, consulting with peers and supervisors as approprie. They may be assigned to any VHA program and setting, such as inpient or outpient medicine, primary care, surgery, mental health, neurology, rehabilition medicine, gerirics, Compension and Pension, Vet Centers, and the VHA Nional Center for Organizion Development. Psychologists diagnose mental disorders, conduct psychological or neuropsychological assessments, tre mental disorders through a variety of modalities, and provide adjunctive interventions for trement of medical disorders. Among the modalities provided are individual, family, and group psychotherapies and other interventions such as behavioral health and community interventions. Psychologists consult with medical center staff on a wide variety of pient care issues. Staff psychologists may be involved in program evaluion, teaching, training, and research activities.
