Job Description

This is a full-time, 10-month clinical position that consists of providing short-term individual therapy and group therapy, crisis services, consultation, and regular coverage for Crisis Walk-In Hours. In addition to these clinical responsibilities, Staff Psychologists provide outreach programming on campus, perform supervisory and administrative tasks as needed, and engage in collaboration with other staff and faculty at Dickinson (e.g., through committee work, planning workshops and events, etc.).
Essential Functions:
Provides individual and group counseling to students. Documents all clinical services in the electronic health records system. Provides diagnostics and substance abuse services for students. Provides on-call psychological crisis management for students. Participates in an after-hours on-call rotation, in collaboration with Student Life On Call Staff, to provide consultation regarding students in crisis (i.e. TELUS provides after-hours assessment and intervention to students). Provides daytime psychological crisis management for students. Provides outreach education, training and consultation regarding wellness to the campus community.
