DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, the EM education & training analyst will support the AFCEC/CXR's education efforts, through the USAF Commander's School, Maxwell AFB, Alabama. Essential Job Functions Assist in the development of new approaches, financially responsible methods/strategies, and techniques for on-scene disaster response. Provide advice/consultation to installations, MAJCOMs, AFIMSC detachments, and Air Force senior leadership to pin-point deficiencies and troubleshoot unit problems to bring base level accident/incident emergency response capability to acceptable Air Force and federal performance levels. Advise installation commanders and the commander's senior staff on policies, procedures, and interaction between the crisis action team and the emergency operations center. Assist in planning and developing new accident response procedures based on recent incidents. Assist the course director in developing and updating the USAF Emergency Operations Center Director's Course objectives, plan of instruction, course chart, training standards, course content, training aids, and other education and training materials. Additional duties and obligations outlined in the EM Support PWS, and assignments delegated by the LAUKOA Contract Task Lead or LAUKOA Supervisor. Education Required Bachelor's Degree in Disaster/Emergency Management. Minimum Qualifications 6 years or more CBRN Defense, disaster preparedness, emergency management related field experience. Secret Clearance Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills. Intermediate Level Excel Skills (Data Entry, Formulas). Acute attention to detail. Strong organizational skills.
