Job Description
We are looking for a Licensed Health Insurance Agent- Start ASAP!! to support insurance-related administrative operations in Greensboro, North Carolina. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who combines strong customer communication skills with hands-on experience in health insurance support, scheduling, and case coordination. The person in this role will help manage inbound inquiries, maintain organized calendars, and assist with policy, payment, and claims-related follow-up in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls from members, clients, and internal stakeholders with professionalism and accurate information related to health insurance services.
- Coordinate appointments, maintain calendars, and organize scheduling activities to keep daily operations running efficiently.
- Provide administrative support by preparing documentation, updating records, and ensuring information is entered and maintained accurately.
- Assist with insurance claim status checks, payment tracking, and follow-up activities to support timely resolution of outstanding items.
- Review policy and plan details with callers and help direct questions to the appropriate resources when needed.
- Monitor ongoing insurance-related requests and follow through on next steps to ensure a high level of service and responsiveness.
- Maintain organized files and correspondence to support compliance, reporting, and operational continuity.
- Collaborate with team members to support health insurance processes and other administrative coordination tasks as assigned.
