Sachs Policy Group ( SPG) is a New York-based advisory services firm that focuses on the crossroads of public policy, technology, and business and operational strategy for health-related organizations. Position Summary:
The SPG internship gives students an opportunity to learn what life as a consultant in our practice is like. As an Intern, you will work on a variety of projects with different engagement teams. The program aims to give you exposure to the breadth of our services and client work. You will work closely with our professionals at all levels and gain first-hand experience in consulting. This schedule for this position is 32 hours per week, Monday - Thursday.
Responsibilities may include:
+ Research and drafting analysis of health policy matters + Supporting SPG staff with client support activities, including participating on client calls and helping with following up activities + Review and update internal SPG policy materials + Providing detailed fact finding, research and analysis + Assisting with data gathering activities, and creating data insights.
Qualifications:
Candidates should be top academic performers, be interested in the consulting industry, and meet the following criteria: + Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, with a major in business, public policy or other related major. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Strong analytical skills + Creative problem-solving ability and a collaborative, consultancy mindset. + Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize tasks. + Highly motivated, driven, and dynamic attitude towards work and career. + Ability to excel within a team environment. Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the current payrate for this internship is: $25/hr.
