What We Are Looking For Minimum Qualifications:
These qualifications must be reflected in your application for consideration. Six years of progressively responsible experience that included the preparation, analysis, and administration of a budget or fiscal system. Experience must have included modeling and forecasting fiscal information.Note:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public or Non-Profit Management, Finance, Accounting or a related degree (such as Public Policy, Political Science, Public Administration or other analytical or technical degree) may substitute for three years of the required experience. A graduate-level degree in any of the above areas may substitute for four of the six years.Desired Attributes:

Ability to determine the impact of changes to state and federal statutes and regulations. Strong analytical skills. Extensive knowledge of budgeting processes and fiscal analysis to assess and measure equity impacts. Outstanding customer service skills for both internal and external customers. Ability to demonstrate initiative and independent judgement on an on-going basis. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Willingness to collaborate, share information and contribute to the team's success. Experience in promoting a culturally competent and diverse work environment. Experience and knowledge in advancing health equity and antiracism. Advanced level expertise in Microsoft Excel is required. Additional Details This announcement is for multiple fulltime, permanent, SEIU represented, Senior Fiscal Analyst positions (Classification:
Fiscal Analyst 3 based in Salem, Oregon). This is a hybrid/remote position. "Review Section 4: Working Conditions" in the position description (linked above) for more information. Employment is contingent upon a criminal records check that meets OHA criteria at the time of hire and throughout employment. The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying range. If the successful candidate qualifies for PERS, the salary range will increase by 6.95%. For more information, see the Classification and Compensation page.
