Job Description

Mid-Level Scientific Intel Analyst The subject matter expert shall possess mid-level skills and experience to help identify and assess foreign research, development and acquisition of technologies that study, preserve, modify, augment, enhance or degrade medical or human performance systems. The main criteria for assessing these technologies is the intended or potential impact they have on foreign defense capabilities, the potential for impacting U.S. national security and opportunities for DoD acquisition. These criteria are prioritized according to country and technology in the National Intelligence Priorities Framework and DoD mission needs. Tasks include but are not limited to:

Write assessments in intelligence products, responses and briefings, as well as provide expertise to other analysts. These products are published on the Intelligence Community-Information Technology Enterprise (IC-ITE or GovCloud), Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICs), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPR), and Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPR) systems depending on the classification.

Prepare intelligence assessments on defense implications of scientific and technological advances, to include but not limited to finished intelligence products, responses to requests for information, collection requirements, and briefings. Senior Intelligence Officers and Team leaders in the Infectious Disease and Countermeasures Division will provide templates and formats for the assessments that are approved by
DIA/NCMI.
The contractor will work with NCMI SIOs to ensure the assessments meet or exceed
DIA/NCMI
quality and tradecraft standards within mutually agreed upon timelines.

Perform open source and classified data search for military/civilian research, development and acquisition related to medical systems.

Gather/assesses relevant information from all available sources, including but not limited to, the internet, newspapers and magazines, professional journals, target country health and research departments and ministries, video and radio transcriptions, conference abstracts and proceedings, unpublished these and research reports, approved outside experts, and the full range of classified intelligence information data sources available to the intelligence community, as well as through interaction with analyst, Division Branch Chiefs/Senior Intelligence Officers.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a scientific field of study 4+ years relevant experience in S&TI analysis TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph
