Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Threat Intelligence Lead to sit remote for one of our cyber security customers here in the Bay Area.

This role will:
- Run intelligence collection and analysis hands-on, focused on identity- and credential-based threats.
- Build and improve the tooling and pipeline that turn raw intelligence into actionable signal for our platform.
- Guide a small team as a player-coach — setting the technical bar and mentoring, while staying close to the work yourself.
- Uphold a high legal and ethical standard for how intelligence is gathered and handled, working closely with Legal, Compliance, and Security.
- Use modern, AI-augmented tooling to do the work of a much larger team, in partnership with engineering.
- Communicate findings clearly to engineering and leadership, and connect intelligence to real risk.

https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- 5-8+ years in cyber threat intelligence, including hands-on experience with the cybercriminal underground — collection and analysis, not only detection or SOC work.
- A strong grasp of identity- and credential-based threats and the ecosystems behind them.
- Solid collection tradecraft and operational security / source protection.
- Rigor and care in handling sensitive data responsibly.
- Hands-on technical ability to build and run a modern, AI-augmented intelligence pipeline and partner well with engineering.
- Sound legal and ethical judgment — you hold a high standard for how intelligence is obtained.
- Languages relevant to underground research.
- Experience at a threat intelligence vendor.
- A SIGINT/cyber background (government or military) or law-enforcement cybercrime intelligence.
- A recognized, well-regarded presence in the threat intelligence community; a research or publication track record.
