Job Description

Emergent Risk International (ERI) is seeking to hire a full-time, Event Security Analyst to be embedded with one of our multinational clients on an annual contract. Candidates for this early career role will have an analytical and data-driven mindset, and a desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on threat intelligence analysis and research. The successful candidate will work a standard Monday-Friday business hour schedule. This is a fully onsite role. It may be staffed at either one of two client office locations, in Charleston, South Carolina or Clarksville, Tennessee. •

Assessment and Analysis:
 We provide our clients daily, subscription-based and bespoke geopolitical and threat intelligence services.
Training:
 We train intelligence analysts to serve effectively in corporate environments. Our training focuses on tradecraft and tools that drive more efficient and effective analysis. We offer a range of in-house and open training courses to address specific levels of experience and need.
Online Platform:
 We offer a subscription-based online portal that provides a workspace environment for security intelligence analysts, combining ERI's expert analysis with hundreds of curated datasets and our suite of data visualization tools.
Consulting:
 We help companies develop and improve their intelligence programs, providing end-to-end support; from assessing needs and providing analysis to recruiting and hiring highly qualified candidates.
Embedded Analyst Services:
 We support our clients with embedded analysts, full- and part-time, short- and long-term. Our embedded analysts work directly for our clients, allowing them the benefit of employing intelligence professionals trained to ERI's strict standards of competency and continually professionally developed by ERI's senior leadership, armed with access to ERI's proprietary tools and deep backbench of in-house subject matter experts.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking an experienced OSINT analyst with deep expertise in OSINT to support client global security operations by focusing on event security. This role will focus on proactive threat detection, risk assessment, and intelligence reporting to safeguard events and personnel attending external events and meetings. While event security will be the focus of the role, when workflow demand permits, the Event Security Analyst will also collaborate with other OSINT Analysts on the embedded team and assist with OSINT research on risk to the client's personnel, assets, and operations. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced OSINT tradecraft to conduct deep analysis, generate high-impact written reports, and deliver clear, concise communication that directly informs high-level decision-making. Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct multi-source OSINT collection and analysis to assess threats to internally held events and external events attended by client personnel. The analyst's primary area of responsibility will be events held within the North America
  • Deliver real-time incident reporting and tracking of events and incidents, including potentially violent groups targeting client.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of client risk exposure and tailor intelligence reporting accordingly.
  • Interpret and visualize high-quality data to identify trends and contextualize intelligence findings.
  • Deliver concise intelligence products, including threat assessments, situation reports, and executive briefings, for senior leadership.
  • Maintain awareness of broader risk factors affecting the business, including financial, legal, geopolitical, and reputational.
  • Provide client-focused service with availability for incident support outside of normal hours.
  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships to enable effective information flow.
  • Monitor emerging regulatory, social, and political trends affecting workforce safety. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in intelligence, international business, journalism, law enforcement, or related field.
  • Proven experience conducting OSINT monitoring and research and threat escalations, and local/regional/national government database and information gathering intelligence.
  • Deep expertise in OSINT including social media monitoring
  • Familiarity with tools such as Everbridge VCC, Factal, Flashpoint, or similar intelligence platforms preferred.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with ability to produce concise intelligence reports for executive audiences.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and respond quickly during crisis situations.
  • Commitment to ethical intelligence practices and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to pass background checks (employment, education) and drug screening (where applicable).
Working Hours:
Role is a standard local business hours position; however, successful candidates will work flexible schedules. Additionally, as a member of a global security team, the successful candidate is expected to be flexible to support on-call schedules over holidays, weekends and when other team members are on PTO or sick leave. Remuneration:

$31.73 - $34.13 per hour
