Job Description

Overview VTG is seeking a Targeting Officer - Level 3 to support our Client's challenging operational requirements at multiple locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area. What will you do? Successful candidates will support cutting-edge intelligence operations using specialized, state-of-the-art tools and technologies while working in an integrated government-contractor team. Responsibilities include technical research using customer tools, technical analysis, report writing, operational concept development, stakeholder engagement and the presentation of reports to all levels of customer management. This work is increasingly complex and highly dynamic. It affords the successful candidate considerable opportunity to address high-profile intelligence issues and apply the full-range of analytic tradecraft to sophisticated and challenging worldwide missions. Targeting Officers must be able to think critically and communicate highly complex technical information accurately and clearly while also working collaboratively in a team environment. Candidates should be comfortable with drafting and disseminating written reports and requests for information. Do you have what it takes?
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 7-12 years of applicable experience TS/SCI with poly Cable writing experience Ability to identify and assess the right entities and the right vulnerabilities and technology trends to enable new collection operations Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings Strong analytic, research, and investigative skills combined with ops sense, personal initiative, and some technical expertise
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases and specialized tools Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices Formal training or certification as a Targeter Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
Pay Range:
VTG's estimated starting pay range is $140,000 - $150,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
