: The Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center at Gallaudet University is a federally funded center with exemplary elementary and secondary education programs for deaf and hard of hearing students and is tasked with developing and disseminating innovative curricula, instructional techniques, and products nationwide while providing information, training, and technical assistance for parents and professionals to meet the needs of deaf and hard of hearing students from birth to age 21.Job Title:

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research (MER), the Evaluation Coordinator coordinates the evaluation request process and conducts data analyses.Job Description:
Coordinates and manages the review and approval process of Clerc Center's requests for evaluation support from the MER team, to reach and involve internal and external groups for management of evaluation requests. Coordinates and manages the evaluation process, from development, data collection, data analysis and reporting of evaluation results. Manages and monitors evaluation timelines, activities, and resources in collaboration with project staff, trainers, the Supervisor, and other persons involved with the evaluations. Conducts analyses of quantitative, qualitative, and other types of data to meet accountability requirements and to support strategic planning, school improvement, public input, and national work; and uses various analysis tools for analysis and reporting. Develops and tracks metrics to assess evaluation demand, alignment with the Clerc Center's strategic plan and agenda priorities, and program effectiveness, and summarizes information for the Director and senior level management. Prepares reports of data analyses, results, and other data-related information, using nontechnical and technical language as appropriate, to internal and external stakeholders in different formats (e.g., infographics, reports, texts, videos). Establishes and maintains professional, collegial relationships with team members, program staff, school professionals, potential collaborators, and others with a commitment to and value to belonging for all involved. Works with team members to establish and follow procedures to protect the integrity of collected and sensitive data in compliance with federal and other compliance requirements and follows professional and ethical standards established for evaluators and researchers. Manages reporting of data in compliance with accountability requirements. Establishes and maintains a positive and supportive working relationship with co-workers and supervisors. Demonstrates a genuine commitment to belonging in the workplace and participates in activities and workshops to foster continuous learning. Serves as a mandatory reporter under Title IX; and commits to completing Title IX training and other compliance requirements on an annual basis. Prioritizes safety in the workplace as a collective responsibility for the well-being of employees and fosters a culture of safety that is integral to our success, including strict adherence to safety procedures and protocols, as well as promptly reporting any safety hazards or incidents. Performs related and other duties as needed.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. A minimum of three years of professional experience with data analysis, evaluation, and assessments, or a related field. Ability to communicate in American Sign Language.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree. Experience working in a K-12 setting.Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong knowledge about professional standards related to the protection of human subjects and ethical and professional practice. Strong knowledge of working with traditionally underserved groups. Demonstrated experience with spreadsheets, databases, and analytical programs for analysis of data (including quantitative and qualitative data). Demonstrated experience working with deaf or hard of hearing students in ECE-12, post-secondary, or agency settings, their families, and/or educators, and professionals who work with them. Demonstrated experience with using tools to track activities, milestones, and progress. Demonstrated ability to work with and across university departments, outside constituents, and groups.Other Important Information:
