City of Princeton Job Notice The City of Princeton is seeking a qualified and motivated Planning & Zoning Administrator. Reporting directly to the City Manager, this position performs high-level administrative and professional work involving planning, zoning, code enforcement, development review and special projects. The position plays an important leadership role in the community's growth, development and long-term planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Will oversee zoning administration and code enforcement, review development applications, prepare reports, coordinate public meetings, respond to inquiries, manage GIS and tree inventory systems, support economic development programs, and collaborate with City departments and community stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or a related field, five years of progressively responsible experience in planning, zoning, enforcement or community development, and knowledge of GIS technology. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Successful candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, GIS capabilities, knowledge of planning and zoning procedures, independent initiative, and the ability to establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in graphic design, site planning and public engagement is also desirable.
Salary:
