Job Description
The City of Excelsior is seeking a Planner Technician to coordinate building permits, code enforcement, and other city permits. Duties include working with property owners and city departments, providing customer service, and maintaining records. Position provides administrative support for all permit related matters. Candidates must possess an associate's degree in urban planning, urban studies, or a closely related field and a minimum of one year work experience in municipal planning or related field. Preferred candidates have a bachelor's degree and municipal government experience. Salary range $35.90 - $45.06 per hour.
