Department Transportation Position Type Regular Location US-ND-Fargo Job Overview Get ready to drive efficiency by using data to make smarter scheduling decisions! Marvin is looking for a Scheduling Analyst to join our enterprise logistics team. In this role, you'll blend analytical thinking with collaboration, using data and insights to optimize routing, improve on-time delivery, and support scheduling practices across the business. If you enjoy solving complex problems, influencing cross-functional teams, and making an impact on how products move from production to customer, this role offers a unique opportunity to elevate both processes and performance. Highlights of your role Partners with outside vendors to collaborate on delivery designs, including pulling historical data for analysis, and conducting pricing analysis.
Trains and assists with implementation of new scheduling processes & systems.
Supports internal project teams as a subject matter expert in scheduling practices across the enterprise.
Collaborates with manufacturing to match the production plan and the delivery scheduling plan to achieve on time delivery and ship complete.
Works with individual schedulers to train best practices and review routes to reduce freight costs.
Conducts review of historical data to drive positive improvements to routing process.
Leads the planning of weekly third-party carrier routes
Reports out monthly on empty miles and fill rate metrics
Reviews and approves third party software invoices. You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills required
Strong analytic skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel
Ability to interact with a cross functional team
Ability to self-motivate
Experience with transportation/scheduling preferred
Strong computer skills are required
