Duties, Responsibilities & Other The Project Planner is responsible for completing NEPA tasks on transportation projects from inception to completion, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role involves close coordination with developers, government agencies, and community members.Key Responsibilities:
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in related field.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental planning, transportation planning, urban planning or related discipline
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Proficiency in GIS software.
- Excellent public speaking, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Good communication and technical writing skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Work Experience Preferred:
- Previous internships or work experience in this industry.
Registrations Required:
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to maintain required certifications.
Registrations Preferred:
- AICP or CEP preferred.
