Your impact Provide leadership and direction to a growing team that provides innovative solutions for transportation planning projects. A key role in the continued growth of the team in the US Northeast and New Jersey and also help to strengthen our local and national business capabilities. Help manage and balance resourcing needs within the team, network across the business to seek opportunities, identify career development opportunities for your team, and to be a champion for your staff's growth, well-being, and development at Jacobs. Build relationships within Jacobs to determine unique technical skills that can be delivered to the market. Establish and maintain relationships with clients, serve as a representative of Jacobs at meetings, presentations, and public hearings/reviews relative to assigned projects. Coordinate work share with other offices in Jacobs to deliver projects. Support the growth of New York business and development of team expertise. Current program / project needs - MTA IBX stakeholder management role, NJ middle game activity, MTA Planning Call-in, NJTPA work / pursuits with Keith Hamas and Scott Parker. Main focus NJ and NY. Here's what you'll need Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering or a related field. Masters degree preferred Professional License/Certification such as AICP, P.E., or PMP Progressive experience in a Planning, Engineering, or Transportation organization, including demonstrated experience in a project management and/or in a supervisory capacity Experience working with departments of transportation, planning or transit agencies (within New Jersy and New York preferred) Familiarity with transportation technology and its impacts on traditional transportation planning and operations preferred Knowledge and experience of Federal and State transportation regulations and programs, such as FTA, FHWA, and DOT preferred Excellent communication, time management and report writing skills Great mentorship and leadership skills

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $170,000.00 to $200,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
