Job DescriptionThe Analyst, Transportation Safety is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation and monitoring of safety training programs and compliance processes. This role is detail oriented, service minded, and focused on timely, accurate execution of safety training and compliance programs that help reduce risk and support drivers and operations.
Essential Functions:
 Develop and validate safety training content for quarterly safety meetings, ad hoc safety training and driver e-learning in partnership with the broader safety teamAssign, coordinate and track safety trainingIdentify opportunities to enhance training effectiveness and provide feedback for improvementPrepare, analyze and present safety reporting, identifying trends and providing recommendations for actionProvide transportation subject matter expertise to work with internal training teams to develop training content for our fleet of drivers.

Maintain accurate safety data and records across approved systems and shared filesReview safety events and provide recommendations for remedial action based on defined parameters in partnership with region safety managers and transportation operationsMonitor transportation safety and DOT compliance, validating inspections, observations, crashes and other reporting Design and execute processes for tracking the closure of remedial actionRespond to drivers, region transportation managers and support functions regarding safety training and compliance requirements, including individual event investigation reviewsMaintain audit‑ready documentation and follow standard operating proceduresUpdate compliance materials in partnership with stakeholders and in alignment with the broader safety teamCommunicate updates on safety policies, procedures and regulatory changesQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree preferredMinimum of two years experience in Safety or Transportation related fieldSkilled in oral and written communications. Policies and proceduresKnowledge and experience with FMCSA regulationsStrong analytical skills with experience building reports and identifying trends in transportation safety dataAbility to translate data into clear summaries and visuals that support driver coaching and risk reductionAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsStrong verbal and written communication and presentation skillsAbility to communicate with a wide variety of customers, levels of management and varying agenciesStrong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skillsStrong investigative, data mining and report writing skillsHighly organized with attention to detailAbility to take initiative; work independently as well as on a teamAdditional InformationNation-wide Medical Plan/Dental/Vision401(k) Flexible Spending AccountsAdoption AssistanceTuition ReimbursementWeekly Pay
