Job Description

Join a globally acclaimed design practice shaping some of the world's most distinctive destinations, resorts, and mixed-use communities. This Land Planner opportunity offers the chance to help bring visionary developments to life, transforming raw land into thoughtfully planned environments that balance experience, functionality, and long-term value. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of planners, architects, and designers, you'll contribute to projects from early site analysis and concept creation through design development, helping shape places that leave a lasting impact on communities and visitors alike. This role is ideal for a creative and technically minded planner who enjoys solving complex challenges, collaborating across disciplines, and growing within a world-class design organization. Key Responsibilities Support planning and design efforts across resort, residential, and mixed-use projects from concept through design development Conduct research, site analysis, and zoning review to inform planning strategies and design solutions Produce concept plans, site layouts, diagrams, and presentation materials using both digital and hand-drawn techniques Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, to ensure project alignment and approvals Assist in coordinating deliverables, maintaining quality standards, and guiding junior team members on project tasks Skills and Experience 4+ years of experience in land planning, urban design, or resort planning Strong working knowledge of municipal zoning codes, land use regulations, and entitlement processes Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp (Rhino/Revit and GIS experience a plus) Ability to develop concept plans, site designs, and grading strategies across multiple project scales Strong graphic, visualization, and communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly Benefits & Culture Work with a globally respected, employee-owned design firm on high-impact, international projects Collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with strong mentorship and professional growth Exposure to diverse project types including resort, urban, and mixed-use developments Culture rooted in sustainability, innovation, and design excellence Opportunity to grow into a leadership track within a world-class planning and design team
