Our company started as a tutoring company, and over the years, we have evolved into a comprehensive, full-service Educational Consultant for over 300 School Districts. We offer various services, including Academic Instruction, Occupational Therapy, Language and Speech, Counseling, and Mental Health Services. Services provided are a combination of Compensatory Services, Home/Hospital Instruction, and in some cases, Primary Instruction and/or Therapy. Our Special Education team is looking for PPS-Credentialed Counselors who can provide counseling services to students in Hemet, CA. Our PPS- Credentialed Counselors can earn $60
- 70 per hour, depending on education, teaching credentials, licenses, and professional teaching experience. PPS
- Credentialed Counselors and providers in California are part-time employees and are reimbursed for mileage and travel time while on the clock (tutoring session to tutoring session).
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a current CA-issued Pupil Personnel Services credential Must pass and clear a CA Live Scan (background check) Provide a Tuberculosis clearance (under 4 years old) upon hire Ability to provide counseling services in person at the student's home Have experience counseling Special Education students who need:BII, BID, TRANSITION
SERVICES, and ERICS counseling services Motivation and passion to help students Communicate ongoing student progress with parents and the case manager Collaborate with families on students' needs Have at least a year of paid school-based counseling experience ( internship hours cannot be considered ) The logistics: Our model is entirely 1-to-1, and our services are provided either at the student's home or the nearest public library if the house is not a suitable location. Our teachers and providers can create schedules with the parents based on their availability. Most of our services are provided outside school hours, either in the afternoon, evenings, or weekends if desired. Some assignments are available during the school day for those looking for daytime work. Teachers and providers can work with as few as 1 or as many (10+) students on their caseload.
