Qualifications:

Valid and current School Counselor certification or eligibility to obtain certification in Colorado A masters degree in school counseling, counseling, or related field Previous experience working as a School Counselor in a K-12 setting preferred Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families Excellent organizational and communication abilities A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive school culture

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing academic, social, and personal concerns Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support plans Conduct interventions, facilitate crisis management, and offer guidance on academic planning and career exploration Maintain accurate records and documentation according to school and district policies Promote a positive school environment through leadership in guidance programming and activities Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as required This position offers meaningful professional engagement within a supportive school setting and the chance to make a significant impact in students' lives as they navigate important stages of their academic and social development.
