Job outline:
The Guidance Counselor, in collaboration with the counseling department, practices ethical and professional standards in the effective implementation and management of a guidance and college counseling program that promotes Jesuit values and student success.
Primary R esponsibilities:
Providing direct counseling and guidance to students and families. Enhancing the learning process and promoting students' academic, career, and social/emotional development. Working with the students to achieve optimal personal growth, acquire positive social skills and values, and realize their full academic potential. Implementing action plans, as necessary, to help students grow; serve as a liaison between the students and faculty.
R equirements:
Bachelor's degree. Excellent counseling, writing, and communication skills. A minimum of three years of experience in high school counseling.
