Aug 24, 2026 Job Description Academic Interventionist Saint Columbkille Partnership School Saint Columbkille Partnership School, located in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, educates students aged 2.9 years through Grade 8. Founded in 1901 by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, the school has educated generations of local families. Saint Columbkille Partnership School was re-established in 2006 and enjoys a unique partnership with Boston College, as the Laboratory School affiliated with its Lynch School of Education and Human Development, and with the Archdiocese of Boston and Saint Columbkille Parish.

Saint Columbkille Partnership School is currently seeking a full-time Academic Interventionist for the 2026-2027 school year. The Academic Interventionist is responsible for helping students meet their learning goals, which enables the school to be more inclusive of all students.
The Academic Interventionist will:
Provide weekly small group interventions for students grades K2-5 utilizing push-in and pull-out strategies. Track data regarding student achievement and growth in the intervention groups. Communicate with classroom teachers and parents regarding student progress. Serve as a member of the school's Student Support Team. Collaborate with Title I tutors who provide academic support for Loyola Academy students. Plan and lead professional development for faculty regarding analysis of MAP data, data-informed instruction, and differentiated instruction. Analyze MAP data and contribute to strategic planning discussions. Provide test score data and student reports to the Learning Resource Coordinator for IEP and 504 Plan meetings and provide support during the evaluation process. Support teachers in understanding any specialized learning needs of students and implementing appropriate accommodations. Administer the school's tutorial program, including recruiting and scheduling tutors, identifying students in need of tutoring, and reviewing tutorial lesson plans. Train tutors on appropriate tutoring protocols, including collecting data and documents they will need to submit for Title funding. Collaborate with admissions personnel to review applications and conduct academic assessments. The requirements for this position include: Commitment to the school's Catholic mission and identity. Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Ability to use instructional technology. The compensation range for this role is $44,000-$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity.
