Position Overview:
Domingos & Associates is seeking a full-time School Adjustment Counselor/School Counselor to join a collaborative, supportive, and energetic team of professionals providing Special Education counseling services within a K-12 charter school in the Malden/Everett area for the 2026-2027 academic year and beyond. The position is scheduled to begin in mid- August 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated clinician who enjoys working within a multidisciplinary educational setting and values collaboration, professional growth, and high- quality student support services.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will:
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students in person (with remote services as needed)
  • Attend weekly team meetings, IEP meetings, and 504 Plan meetings
  • Assist with student safety assessments and crisis support as needed
  • Consult and collaborate with parents, outside providers, and school staff
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and student notes
  • Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral functioning within the school setting
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess one of the following:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in: o School Psychology o Clinical Psychology o School Counseling o Social Work o Counseling Preferred licensure/credentials include:
  • LICSW
  • LMHC
  • School Adjustment Counselor license/certification
  • School Counselor certification
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Demonstrate strong writing and documentation skills
  • Possess excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Be able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bring energy, professionalism, and flexibility to a fast-paced school environment
  • Be comfortable presenting and participating in IEP meetings
Supervision & Support:
The selected candidate will receive peer supervision, mentorship, and ongoing training from the Counseling Department Supervisor. This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled and supportive team of clinicians and educators.
Education Requirements:
  • Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree required
