Works with school teachers and administrators to address problems that affect student performance, and identifies resources for students and families. Helps high school students to plan academic course work and advises on the college search and application process.

Job Description

RSU 68 is seeking a compassionate and student-centered School Counselor (grades 5-8) to support students' academic, social-emotional, and career development. The successful candidate will provide individual and group counseling, collaborate with families, teachers, and community partners, support crisis response efforts, and help foster a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment. Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Maine School Counselor Certification (075).

From $70,000.00 per year
