Support Students. Strengthen Our School Community. St. Ann Catholic School is seeking a compassionate, student-centered Part-Time Guidance Counselor to join our PreK-8 school community. The ideal candidate is a caring professional who is committed to supporting the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being of students while partnering with families, faculty, and administration to foster a positive Catholic school environment. Responsibilities Provide individual and small-group counseling for students in grades PreK-8. Support students with social-emotional learning, conflict resolution, and personal development. Collaborate with teachers and administrators to identify and support students' academic and behavioral needs. Consult with parents regarding student concerns and appropriate interventions. Coordinate referrals to outside agencies and community resources when needed. Assist with crisis response and student support planning. Promote a safe, welcoming, and faith-filled school climate. Maintain confidential student records in accordance with ethical and legal standards. Support school initiatives that promote student wellness and character development. Qualifications Degree in School Counseling, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. Current North Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure preferred. Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students. Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics. Appreciation for and willingness to support the mission and values of Catholic education.
