- $180/day The Rose Tree Media School District and Springton Lake Middle School are seeking a student-centered School Counselor dedicated to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of adolescents. The ideal candidate understands the unique developmental needs of middle school students and is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every student can thrive. This extended substitute position is available for the first marking period of the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will be hired through Kelly Education. The Rose Tree Media School District is one of the premier districts in Delaware County and beyond. We offer a work environment that is highly collaborative and supportive.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of master's degree in school counseling or related field Active and valid Pennsylvania School Counseling Certificate PreK-12 Knowledge of child and adolescent development - prior experience working with middle level students highly desirable Understanding of MTSS, PBIS, SEL, & Restorative Practices Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and families Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Current background clearances - see below
