0 Austin, TX Job Details Part-time $15 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Experience teaching math Employee relationship building English Math Working with students Full Job Description Best brains Learning center of Averyranch is currently looking for an After school Counselor to organize and manage activities for the children in our afterschool program. The ideal candidate will be a role model, energetic,fun loving, good communicator and a positive force with kids (elementary aged students).
HOURS:
MON
  • FRI 2:30pm
  • 6:30pm Must be able to pass criminal background check.
1. Maintains a professional attitude. 2. Picking up kids from Patsy Sommer and Elsa England schools in Best Brains Vans. 3. Able to teach Math and English from Best Brains curriculum for elementary kids. 4. Supervises all activities to ensure safety at all times. 5. Participates in dismissal procedures at the end of after care, ensuring that each child leaves with the appropriate adult 6. Greets parents and children with salutations and smiles. 7. Works with other staff members to form a positive, supportive team atmosphere.
Example of a typical day:
  • Checking in and Checking out students.
  • Snack
  • 1 Hour Math and English class.
  • Organizing and guiding group activities and games providing a safe and structured atmosphere.
