  • Full-time Overview Join our dedicated educational team as a High School Counselor, where you will play a vital role in guiding students through their academic, personal, and social development.
In this dynamic position, you will provide comprehensive counseling services that foster emotional well-being, academic success, and career readiness. Your expertise will help students navigate challenges, set goals, and unlock their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while collaborating with educators, parents, and community resources. Duties Provide individual counseling focused on academic advising, behavioral health, mental health counseling, and social-emotional development. Develop personalized educational plans that align with students' interests, strengths, and future aspirations. Support students facing behavioral challenges or conflicts through effective conflict management and behavior management strategies. Administer standardized testing and interpret results to inform instructional strategies and student support plans. Advocate for students' needs by collaborating with teachers, administrators, parents, and external specialists to create inclusive learning environments that respect cultural diversity. Assist students in exploring career options, college applications, scholarships, and other post-secondary opportunities. Maintain detailed records of counseling sessions, behavioral incidents, and intervention outcomes to monitor student progress.
