Job Description

Category Schools - Counselor Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting student well-being as a part-time LPC in a school setting. You'll provide counseling services to an assigned caseload of 18 students, beginning your meaningful work on August 17. This contract role allows you to make a direct impact on the lives of young people while collaborating within an educational environment. More specifics about hours and caseload distribution will be shared as they become available.
Key Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas Experience working with youth in school or clinical settings preferred Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families Compassionate, student-centered approach to counseling Ability to uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to students in accordance with school protocols Develop and implement strategies that foster emotional, personal, and academic growth Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' holistic needs Maintain detailed, confidential records and complete documentation in a timely manner Address concerns such as social challenges, emotional well-being, and behavioral support Contribute to a safe and supportive school climate
