Job Description

Category Schools - Counselor Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a part-time Licensed Professional Counselor to make a difference in the lives of students across multiple campuses. This contract position starts ASAP and extends through the 2026-2027 school year, providing meaningful support in an educational setting. In this role, you'll engage with a manageable caseload of 44 students, ranging from grades 1 to 12. The assignment spans 15-20 hours per week, and all six campuses are conveniently within walking distance of each other. Your responsibilities will include offering both direct counseling sessions to students and consultative guidance for those who need it, catering to a variety of emotional and social needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current and active LPC license in good standing Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or similar setting preferred Ability to provide both direct and consultative counseling services Strong interpersonal and communication skills Organized, flexible, and adaptive to different campus settings within close proximity Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individual or small-group counseling to meet the needs of assigned students Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to support students' social and emotional growth Maintain thorough documentation and confidentiality as required by law Communicate progress and collaborate on intervention strategies across campuses Contribute to a positive, supportive atmosphere where all students feel safe and heard This position provides the opportunity to build lasting relationships, contribute to students' well-being, and support a diverse student population over the full school year.
