Category Schools - Counselor Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a part-time licensed professional counselor, working directly with students in a supportive and collaborative school environment near Warren, TX. In this contract role, you'll make a meaningful difference by guiding students to achieve their personal and academic goals.
Key Qualifications:
Current LPC license in the state of Texas Experience providing counseling services in a school setting preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Compassion and dedication to supporting the needs of students Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver counseling services to an assigned caseload of 18 students Provide one-on-one and small group sessions, addressing emotional, social, and academic concerns Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop support plans tailored to each student's needs Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with school policies and ethical standards Participate in periodic meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment
