Job Description

Job Coach:
Help Adults with Disabilities Get to Work (Eureka) Developed Employment Services is a family-owned Humboldt business. For 15 years we've worked alongside adults with developmental disabilities, teaching real job skills, building confidence, and helping them take part in their community. We're hiring a few good people to drive our clients to their day programs in the morning, coach them during the day, and drive them home in the afternoon. This is a steady job with benefits and a purpose. You'll be the dependable, friendly person who gets someone to their program safely, then helps them learn and succeed once they're there.
A typical day:
Morning:
drive a scheduled route bringing clients to their programs (we provide the vehicle)
Midday:
work as a job coach, encouraging and supervising small crews on jobs like yard work, cleaning, and light projects
Afternoon:
drive clients safely home What we offer: Full-time or part-time hours, Monday through Friday From $18/hour, based on experience Paid holidays (including your birthday), paid vacation, and paid time off Medical reimbursement and a gym membership Company vehicle for your routes, plus a company phone (or reimbursement for your own) Full training. You do not need disability-services experience, just the right heart for it What we're looking for: A patient, positive, dependable person who genuinely likes helping others At least 21 years old with a valid California driver's license and a clean driving record Comfort driving daily and working with people Willingness to pass a background check (Live Scan), which we'll walk you through, because our clients' safety comes first If you're looking for rewarding work that makes a difference in your community, we'd love to meet you.
