About the OADS Program
UCPNB OADS
Services offers our adult with disabilities the opportunity to remain engaged in the community through activities to enhance, social cultural and recreational experiences. Activities include both site based and regional day trips.

Job Overview:
As a Job Coach at OADS you will support employees with disabilities in individual placements in Sonoma county. You will be responsible for ensuring that employees complete their job duties as required and for developing new jobs while working in the community. The Job Coach is critical to the success of each individual placement. You are responsible for the support of employees with developmental disabilities during regular work hours Monday through Friday excluding holidays. Most work will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., although some job coaching may be required on weekends and after hours. Non-traditional hours may also be necessary for special events, meetings, and employee placement schedules. Our Job Coaches provide support to employees at a 1:3 staffing ratio.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Valid California Driver's license with a clear driving record Cleared fingerprint/background test required Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test required Negative TB test and medical examination required Experience working with individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment preferred First Aid certified or willing to become certified required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Respond well to direction and work effectively with others Work cooperatively with staff and provide excellent care for employees with disabilities
