Riverside Territory (Covering Corona to Blythe) ?? $20.00-$24.00/hour DOE ?? Full-Time ?? Mileage Reimbursement Provided Are you passionate about empowering Veterans, older adults, and individuals with disabilities to live independently and thrive in their communities? We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and self-motivated Veteran Independence Program Advisor to join our growing team. In this impactful role, you will work closely with healthcare providers, community organizations, and consumers to coordinate individualized support services that promote independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain a caseload of approximately 45 active consumers/Veterans Conduct functional needs assessments and develop individualized support plans Assist consumers with budgeting, service coordination, and independent living resources Support consumers in hiring, training, supervising, and terminating support staff Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with program requirements Collaborate with healthcare partners and community organizations Travel throughout the Riverside territory from Corona to
Blythe Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Veterans, older adults, and/or individuals with disabilities Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Rehabilitation Act, Fair Housing Act, and California labor laws required Experience managing budgets and financial tracking Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general computer systems Reliable transportation, valid California Driver's License, and current auto insurance (if applicable) Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
